The Social Services Department is responsible for interventions, support, and service to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Healthcare Act, and must implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are permeated by putting the individual at the center to meet their needs. The assignment involves a strong customer focus and service spirit. In elderly care, you will help support and improve the daily life of those who need assistance. WORK TASKS As a Nursing Assistant in Motala Municipality, you will provide good care and support to our clients based on their individual needs and wishes. You will respectfully guide, support, and motivate tenants to manage their daily routines in the best possible way according to their own abilities. We offer varied work focused on daily care interventions. You will perform tasks related to personal care, meal support, social interaction, accompaniment, service tasks, etc. You will also carry out healthcare tasks on delegation and document in our journal systems. As a Home Care Nursing Assistant, you will be a dedicated care contact, which means actively working to create secure and trust-based relationships. The work requires great commitment and active participation in developing and improving the operation. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays and weekends, including holidays, during day and evening shifts. The unit's area involves work in an urban setting. QUALIFICATIONS Candidates should have completed a care and nursing education with a final degree. You are accustomed to using computers as a work support and easily adapt to new digital tools. You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish, as the role involves documentation and extensive dialogue with colleagues and clients. Previous experience in care and nursing-related tasks is considered meritorious. As a person, you can organize and plan your work well, work according to a clear process where you complete what you start. You set time frames and meet deadlines. You take active initiative in social contexts, step forward, and easily create and maintain new relationships. You have the resources required for change or problem-solving. You do your best by doing what you can right now and quickly find solutions to emerging problems. You are stable and confident, handle stress constructively, and maintain a good mood under pressure and setbacks. You maintain a realistic perspective on situations and focus on the right things. You work well with other people, relating to them in a sensitive and smooth manner. You can adapt and find win-win solutions through a non-prestigious focus on the common goal.
