**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are currently seeking two nursing assistants for permanent positions at our special accommodation facility, Västanvid, in Knislinge, as well as one nursing assistant for a longer temporary position.
This is an exciting and flexible role with opportunities for development, where we create a good everyday life for our clients through care, support, and service based on individual needs.
The role includes being a contact person, which entails responsibility for planning, implementing, and following up on care, support, and service with a salutogenic perspective.
We are working on digitalization to utilize it in our operations in the best possible way.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
We require you to have a vocational degree from the upper secondary school health and care program or approved grades from adult education courses in health and care (1500 credits).
You have experience working in somatic or dementia care.
You possess the ability to create security and build trusting relationships through care and genuine interest in each individual. Furthermore, you understand the importance of meeting each person based on their unique needs, conditions, and wishes, and can contribute to helping them live a meaningful and social life.
We want you to have knowledge of and apply low-arousal approaches, a method focused on creating calm and security, which is particularly important when working with individuals with dementia.
The role requires you to have good collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and other professionals involved in the client's case. You are relationship-oriented and value communication, empathy, and presence in all interactions.
You are flexible and can quickly adapt when situations require it, and therefore you need to have the ability to adjust swiftly when conditions change. You understand the importance of following the routines and working methods established in the workplace.
You have the physical ability to perform the tasks included in the role, such as lifting, personal care, and transfers, using ergonomic aids.
You are proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
You have good computer skills and experience with the Office suite, Treserva journal system, and Medvind.
We place great importance on personal suitability.
A B driver's license is a requirement for the position, as weekend shifts may start at 07:00, and bus schedules do not align with weekend shifts.
**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
Since July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that you now need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title of nursing assistant in health and care.
