About this role
Källan Safety Housing in Skåre is seeking four dedicated nursing assistants!
At Källan Safety Housing, you will work with care recipients who have physical ailments (long-term somatic patients) and/or can no longer receive sufficient care in their ordinary living arrangements.
Our care recipients live in their own apartments and receive the support they need based on their assessed care needs – always with respect for the individual's wishes and self-determination.
We are now seeking four nursing assistants as some of our valued employees have retired – three permanent positions and one temporary position. Here, you will have the opportunity to help create a workplace where people are at the center – both care recipients and colleagues.
What does the job entail?
As a nursing assistant at Källan Safety Housing, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and supportive environment for our residents. Your work will involve promoting well-being and providing care with respect and empathy, which requires good collaboration skills with both colleagues and care recipients.
Your primary tasks will include:
- Providing care and support in daily life
- Creating and maintaining meaningful relationships with residents
- Working independently but also collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals
- Adapting interventions based on individual needs and preferences
- Working with new methods and smart technology that simplify everyday life for both care recipients and staff
Who are you?
You are a trained nursing assistant with experience in care work. To thrive in this role, we seek someone who is self-motivated, initiative-taking, and flexible. You have a strong service orientation and an excellent ability to build relationships, which contributes to a safe and pleasant atmosphere for residents – and a positive work environment with your colleagues.
Our shared core values require professional and compassionate treatment in contact with our care recipients and their families, so we place great importance on personal suitability.
What do we offer?
With us, you'll have the opportunity to be part of creating a workplace we can all be proud of. You'll receive introduction and support to feel secure in your role, while becoming part of a work environment that values collaboration, openness, and community.
We also offer the opportunity to work with new methods and smart technology that simplify daily life for both care recipients and staff. Your skills will be continuously developed through competence-enhancing initiatives and further training, allowing you to grow both professionally and personally.
Additionally, we offer various attractive benefits outside of work. You can, for example, rent a cottage in Sälen or at our vacation facility on the west coast, and take advantage of gross salary deductions for a company car or bicycle.
