About this role
Strömstad Municipality is a small and close-knit organization where everyone is important and works together to deliver the best possible service.
Within the Social Administration, we collaborate to ensure that those we serve have the opportunity to live a good life based on their unique circumstances. Every day, we create meaning in daily life, provide support where needed, and take responsibility for creating security and a good life throughout their lifetime.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are strengthening our staffing and are looking for two nursing assistants, preferably with experience in dementia care, who want to become part of our team. We work based on the individual-focused method (IBIC) to provide our care recipients with individually tailored and personal care and support. We value a homely indoor environment and our beautiful outdoor spaces, as well as the garden that enables social activities. Solbogården is one of our larger special accommodations in central Strömstad, with five departments focused on dementia care.
As a nursing assistant with us, you will work in a team alongside healthcare professionals. You will provide individually tailored and personal care and support, with great respect for each person's integrity. The role also includes delegated healthcare tasks, social documentation, and active work with implementation plans.
For us, the staffing process is important, and the position includes resource shifts to take responsibility for the whole. This provides you with variety in your work and the opportunity to work in different units. The position is scheduled for daytime and evening shifts, as well as weekends.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
• Completed nursing education and can present proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant.
• Confident in your professional role and able to perform delegated tasks from our nurses.
• Proficient in digital systems and comfortable working with documentation, as this is a natural part of daily work.
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and can communicate clearly with both users, relatives, and colleagues.
You are skilled at collaborating with others to ensure a safe and effective operation. For us, responsibility for the whole is important, and we see that you as a person are flexible and can also work in different departments and units. We also appreciate if you have worked based on IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus).
We place great emphasis on personal qualities and see that you understand and value the various needs of care recipients from your professional perspective as a nursing assistant.
Welcome!
