The care and nursing home offers municipal care and support to individuals over 65 years old. Kaverös Äng is located in a quiet area close to nature, with the Ruddalen outdoor area and Frölunda Torg just two stops away. There are both general care and support departments and sections for residents with dementia.
You are the one who makes everyday life function and become meaningful. In your work, you focus on the strengths of the resident and utilize the individual's resources. You motivate and stimulate the resident based on their individual circumstances in their own home, which is part of the care and nursing home.
Your tasks include everything from personal care, support during meals, encouragement and assistance in social activities, to collaboration with relatives. You are also the contact person and are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on care work with the resident. Some tasks are performed on behalf of licensed personnel.

Qualifications
We are looking for a nursing assistant with a training certificate or certification from the National Board of Health and Welfare. Additional education in care and support is an advantage. Experience from previous care and support work is desirable but not a requirement. The job requires computer skills for documentation in IT systems and good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with others.
In your role, you will meet many people, which requires you to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals. You should be respectful, open in your interactions, and always have the residents' best interests at heart. You have the ability to share information and ideas, both verbally and in writing. The workday may sometimes differ from what was planned since you work with people; therefore, you maintain calm, balance various demands, and reprioritize your tasks.
