About this role
Are you looking for an active job where you meet people and make a difference every day? We are seeking individuals who want to contribute with care, competence, and commitment when it matters most.
Here’s what we offer you!
We are looking for two nursing assistants for two temporary positions, one at 100% and one at 75%, from January 2026 to December 2026.
Working as a nursing assistant in home care means that you will meet our care recipients in their own homes. The work is practical, varied, and at times physically demanding. You will move between care recipients, often by bike or car, and assist with both care and services in the home.
The job requires you to be able to walk up and down stairs, bend, lift, and sometimes work in tight spaces. There may also be heavier tasks, such as cleaning, carrying groceries from shopping, or assisting care recipients in moving between bed and wheelchair.
You will follow basic hygiene routines, wear work clothing, and maintain a respectful and professional demeanor towards care recipients, colleagues, relatives, and others we encounter in our work.
Here’s what you will be working with:
- Assisting with personal care, such as showering, hygiene, dressing, and toilet visits
- Preparing or reheating simple meals and serving food
- Administering medication, which requires you to receive delegation from licensed personnel
- Assisting with cleaning, laundry, bed-making, and waste sorting
- Shopping and accompanying care recipients on errands
- Providing social support, conversation, and walks
- Documenting in digital systems and reporting according to SBAR to ensure quality and safe care
- Collaborating with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists as needed
- Being a contact person or primary care contact and planning how services should be executed together with the individual
Hässleholm Municipality aims to create the best conditions for a sustainable work life, so you can thrive, feel good, and experience job satisfaction. An important part of this is offering good benefits to our employees, such as wellness grants and the option to exchange vacation day supplements for days off.
Who are you?
You are a trained nursing assistant. You have good computer skills and proficiency in Swedish, both written and spoken. We welcome applicants with experience in care work, but this is not a requirement. To navigate the area, you need a B driver's license and the ability to cycle.
We value your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is confident, flexible, and takes responsibility for their own tasks. You have a good ability to build relationships with a respectful and helpful approach and understand the needs and feelings of others.
You share the values and attitudes described in our employee and leadership policy.
