Hasselbacken is a newly built elderly care facility with a total of 60 apartments, spread over three floors.
Two of the floors are focused on dementia care, while one has a somatic focus. Hasselbacken is centrally located in Hässleholm.
The facility is Star Rated, which means we work person-centered to provide good care and support.

As a nursing assistant in a special accommodation setting, you will work alongside your colleagues to provide individualized care. We support our care recipients with personal care, daily rehabilitation, and social activation to ensure a meaningful everyday life.
We are looking for two nursing assistants for two temporary positions: one at 65% from January 26, 2024, to December 31, 2024, and one at 70%, only evenings and weekends, from January 19, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
You will follow basic hygiene routines, wear work attire, and maintain a respectful and professional demeanor towards care recipients, colleagues, relatives, and others we encounter in our work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with personal care, such as showering, hygiene, dressing, and toilet visits, as well as support during meals.
- Working according to a person-centered care model, adapting support to the individual's unique needs and preferences.
- Administering medication, which requires delegation from authorized personnel.
- Supporting daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and minor purchases in the local area.
- Participating in social activities, providing support and guidance.
- Documenting and staying updated in digital systems.
- Writing clear records, documenting according to guidelines, and establishing and following implementation plans to ensure quality and safe care.
- Collaborating with colleagues, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, as well as cooperating with relatives.
- Following workplace routines and guidelines.
- Being a contact person or primary care contact and planning how interventions should be carried out together with the individual.

Who are you?
You are a qualified nursing assistant. You have good computer skills and strong proficiency in Swedish, both written and spoken. We prefer candidates with experience in care work and dementia care, but this is not a requirement.
We value your personal qualities and are looking for someone who is confident, flexible, and takes responsibility for their own tasks. You have a good ability to collaborate and build relationships with a respectful and helpful approach. You understand the needs and feelings of others.

Additional Information
Before employment, you must be able to prove your right to work in Sweden, which can be done by showing that you have Swedish citizenship, citizenship within the EU/EES/Switzerland, or a valid residence and/or work permit.

We conduct language tests for positions in elderly care, so you may need to take a test before a potential employment.
To be employed as a nursing assistant with us, you need to provide proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from an employer confirming permanent employment as a nursing assistant before July 1, 2023. Attach this to your application.
