Would you like to join a pleasant team that adds a special touch to our residents' daily lives? We currently need to strengthen our team with two positive, flexible, and committed nursing assistants at the special housing facility Brinkehem in Brösarp.
Brinkehem is a special housing facility located in Brösarp, consisting of three departments with a total of 22 apartments. The Ljungen department is the largest, with a general focus and ten apartments total, including two apartments adapted for couples. The Heden department consists of seven one-room apartments, and Ängslyckan has five apartments intended for individuals with cognitive diseases.
Placement will primarily be at Brinkehem, but resource shifts at other units within Tomelilla municipality's elderly care may occur.
WORK TASKS
When working as a nursing assistant with us, you are part of people's everyday lives and work to support residents in living as independently as possible. Your work is characterized by great variation, including providing practical support with personal care. You may be delegated by a nurse to have the opportunity to administer medication. The work also involves adding a special touch to residents' daily lives.
Your work includes providing practical support in personal care and hygiene, housework, or social support, such as:
• Shower, personal hygiene, and shaving
• Toilet visits
• Getting up, going to bed, and dressing/undressing
• Cleaning, laundry, and shopping
• Accompanying to places like healthcare centers or outdoor activities

QUALIFICATIONS
To thrive in this role, it's important that you have a genuine interest in people needing care and support. You should have the ability to recognize individual needs for both care and support aimed at independence. It's also crucial that you are flexible and have good interpersonal skills. The job requires you to take initiative and have strong collaborative abilities. As an employee, you must be engaged and proactive in continuous improvement efforts to increase quality at both individual and operational levels.
To be considered for this position, a nursing assistant qualification is required.
You must be proficient in Swedish to communicate with residents, relatives, and colleagues verbally and in writing, and to document effectively.
Previous experience in care and support work is considered meritorious.
To work in care and support, we request an extract from the police criminal record register.
