The Social Services Department in Askersund Municipality is responsible for elderly care, LSS and care operations, social psychiatry, services for unaccompanied refugee children, as well as individual and family care.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide personal care and support based on the individual’s specific needs.
• Work independently and take responsibility in your role according to your profession.
• Collaborate within the team in the shared care and support work and take professional responsibility for your part in the group context.
• Work from a rehabilitative approach and utilize the user’s own abilities.
• Work from a person-centered perspective.
• Document in implementation journals, action plans, and in our operational systems.
• As a contact person, plan and follow up on care and support with the individual's needs at the center.
• Perform health and medical tasks according to prescriptions or instructions and based on delegation, including medical, rehabilitative, and habilitative interventions as well as medication management.
There is an opportunity to offer one of the positions with an evening shift schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a confident and engaged nursing assistant with drive and initiative who wants to help provide users with a secure everyday life at Smedsgården. Making a difference for the users is of utmost importance to you. To thrive with us, we see that you have the ability to work independently, make your own decisions, and at the same time function well in a team, sharing your knowledge and experiences. You are attentive and have a good approach towards users, relatives, and colleagues. Furthermore, you are flexible, responsible, and have the ability to quickly adapt to changes in the operations while contributing to the development of the services. Personal suitability will be given great importance.
You need to have a good command of the Swedish language to communicate with our tenants, relatives, and your colleagues, as well as to document what is required by the operations in our systems. We welcome employees who reflect the diversity of society.
