Your workplace
The hospital in Torsby is an acute care hospital with three wards, dialysis, and an integrated ICU/IMA. The hospital is relatively small, but it serves a large geographical area, located 11 miles from the Central Hospital in Karlstad. This means that the range of illnesses is varied and broad, allowing you to quickly gain valuable knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases.
In the area, we also have several health centers. The health center is the foundation of healthcare in Värmland and offers care at all stages of life.
Your responsibilities
As a nursing assistant with us, you will work in a team and share responsibility with your colleagues for the care of our patients. The role primarily involves caregiving, but also includes monitoring, sample collection, and documentation. We offer you a stimulating work environment where your contribution is vital to both the team and the patients. To ensure you feel secure in your role as a summer employee, you will receive on-site training.
A summer position with us is a great start to your career as a nursing assistant or an opportunity to further develop in your profession. We believe that healthcare must be based on our patients' needs and the competencies of our staff.
Your qualifications and skills
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. If you have not yet received your certification to use the professional title, you will be employed as a care assistant.
