Your workplace
The hospital in Arvika is a smaller county hospital with western Värmland as its primary catchment area. The largest departments are internal medicine and orthopedic inpatient and outpatient care. The acute assignments differ slightly between the departments. In addition, there are several clinics in areas such as psychiatry, dialysis, gynecology, ENT, and ophthalmology. We collaborate with the Central Hospital in Karlstad as well as university hospitals, primarily in Örebro, Uppsala, and Gothenburg.
In the area, we also have several health centers. The health center is the foundation of healthcare in Värmland and offers care at all stages of life. Additionally, we have a mobile team in Arvika, which operates from the hospital but works in the western municipalities of the county.
Your responsibilities
As a nursing assistant with us, you will work in a team and share responsibility with colleagues for the care of our patients. The role of a nursing assistant primarily involves care but also includes monitoring, sampling, and documentation. We offer you a stimulating job where your contribution is important for both the workgroup and the patients. To ensure you feel secure in your role as a summer employee, you will receive an introduction on-site.

Your qualifications and skills
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. If you have not yet received your certification to use the professional title, you will be employed as a care assistant.
