We are a clinic driven by development and are today one of Sweden's leading endoscopy clinics. We perform examinations such as gastroscopy, capsule endoscopy, ERCP, and colonoscopy, including advanced procedures like ESD and enteroscopy. Our unit conducts over 6,000 examinations per year and we engage in extensive research both nationally and internationally. Our work also includes a significant mission in development, teaching, and training.
We are a growing organization and work together in teams with nurses, doctors, nursing assistants, and secretaries. Here, we have a good working climate and close collaboration between different professions, departments, and clinics. The clinic is open during daytime hours from Monday to Friday.
As a new colleague with us, you will be welcomed by healthcare professionals with extensive experience working with patients in gastroenterology. We hold regular meetings to discuss routines, improvements, and continuously offer training for all staff. JOB DESCRIPTION
The position is a substitute for an employee on parental leave. The substitute will last for 18 months with a possible extension.
In addition to examinations in our own unit, you will assist with urgent procedures and pediatric endoscopies under anesthesia in the operating room. The tasks are very varied, which means you will rotate between different examination rooms, the operating room, recovery room, and the cleaning area. You will be responsible for preparations, assisting during examinations, as well as monitoring and care after procedures. We also manage our own cleaning unit, which will be part of your responsibilities. Your primary focus will always be on the patient, both in terms of care and medical management.
Our work is highly technical, and an important part of your tasks will be to handle and maintain various instruments, materials, and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and meets the requirements for a protected professional title set by the National Board of Health and Welfare, regardless of whether you have studied under the previous or current program structure. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are a requirement. We prefer candidates with several years of experience in the profession.
Since we work closely together, we want you to possess excellent collaboration skills. To thrive with us, an interest in technology is important. Additionally, you should naturally take responsibility and be engaged in your work. Furthermore, you work meticulously and are both flexible and proactive. Personal suitability is highly valued.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
You need to present proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate indicating that you were permanently employed as of July 1, 2023. If you do not have this proof, you will be employed as a care assistant and the employment will be temporary, pending the proof.
