We are now seeking nursing assistants for our dementia ward at Vardaga Villa Salabacke. These positions are maternity leave and healthcare cover for night shifts at 79.64% and 68.26%. About Villa Salabacke In autumn 2017, the new elderly and dementia care facility Villa Salabacke (previously Salabacke Plaza) opened in Uppsala with 72 apartments. At Villa Salabacke, we have a large common area where we meet to socialize. This can involve activities like exercise or painting, or celebrating holidays or enjoying afternoon coffee while playing bingo. We also have two roof terraces used to stimulate residents' senses. • We are a dementia-certified facility, meaning all staff are trained in dementia care and approach through Vardaga's Dementia Academy. • We collaborate with Ung Omsorg, a youth organization. A team of 14-18 year olds visits us on weekends and holidays, creating activities to enhance residents' quality of life. • You'll have a group manager who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operation. Becoming a group manager can also be a career opportunity for nursing assistants. As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important! Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret their needs. Your Experience and Knowledge We prefer a qualified nursing assistant with a few years of experience in elderly care. Good computer skills and documentation experience are also advantageous.
