Bolindergården is seeking a nurse assistant or care worker to strengthen the team at the facility's dementia unit. This is a fixed-term position starting as soon as possible, running until August 30, 2026.
Bolindergården care and nursing home is located in the Northern district, near Munktellstaden. The facility consists of three units with a total of 60 apartments. Bolindergården 1 is a dementia care unit, while Bolindergården 2 and 3 are elderly care units. The apartments are spread across three floors, with 20 apartments adapted for individuals with dementia.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nurse assistant, you will work motivationally, supportively, and provide our seniors with a meaningful, safe, and active daily life. You will provide support and service based on each individual's needs. You will collaborate with nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, and as a contact person, you have the important task of creating good quality of life for the residents. In this role, you will have delegated responsibilities, work with personal care and documentation, and assist residents with household tasks. We work with digital workflows where you will document in Viva and sign in Appva.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking a qualified nurse assistant or care worker. If you have additional dementia training or experience with BPSD, that would be beneficial. Experience working in elderly care, preferably focused on individuals with dementia, is a plus. Accepting delegated responsibilities is a prerequisite and requirement, as is experience with documentation. Previous experience documenting in Viva is advantageous.
You are proactive and curious, with the ability to take responsibility and work independently. You are driven to develop and improve the organization and have a flexible approach that allows you to adapt to different situations. You provide excellent interpersonal treatment towards both residents and their families, always wanting to give your best. Being present and engaged when interacting with people comes naturally to you, and you recognize the value of creating security and comfort in residents' daily lives.
