About Us Welcome to a workplace where you will work in an exciting environment alongside multiple professional categories. In Ward 52, patients with breast cancer, thyroid cancer, anal cancer, gastrointestinal tumors, and unknown primary tumors are treated. The treatments provided during hospitalization are primarily radiation, chemotherapy, and radionuclide therapy, both for curative and palliative purposes. We also care for patients experiencing symptoms related to cancer or its treatment, and some patients are admitted until end of life. Patients may experience various complications during their illness, both from the disease and treatment, and often have complex care needs, with great emphasis placed on providing excellent care for both patient and family. We work interprofessionally and collaborate closely with various professional categories, including nurses, doctors, secretaries, dietitians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and hospital chaplains. We are seeking someone who is confident in their professional role, passionate about care, comfortable with both independent work and teamwork, and simultaneously flexible and capable of making independent decisions. Together, we create the conditions for the best possible patient care and treatment. About the Position As an employee, you will attend a chemotherapy course, after which you will receive a chemotherapy certificate. We also provide internal radiation protection training for radionuclide therapy work. Nursing assistants and nurses work together with shared responsibility for a group of patients during each shift. Our nursing assistants have significant care responsibilities and opportunities to develop specialized tasks. About You We are seeking a nursing assistant with an acute care specialization in your education. Additional training and/or multiple years of oncology care experience are advantageous.
