JOB DESCRIPTION
As a nursing assistant at Videbo, a special housing facility in Veddige, you contribute to a safe and meaningful everyday life for the residents. You will be part of a dedicated and friendly team where collaboration, care, and good communication are key.
You work closely with the residents, providing support in daily situations, including personal care, meals, activities, and social interaction. You are attentive to changes in health and needs, document interventions clearly and simply in our journal systems, and participate in activities such as walks, games, or music sessions that enhance the quality of life for the residents.
The job involves day and evening shifts, as well as working every other weekend. As an employee of Varberg Municipality, you may also work resource shifts in other units within the area, such as Rolfstorp and Kungsäter, which provides variety and the opportunity to meet new colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
• Is a qualified nursing assistant
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Holds a B driver's license
• Experience in care and support, preferably from special housing, is an advantage
