Vammarhöjden, located in central Valdemarsvik, is a facility with two dementia units and one short-term care unit.
For our dementia unit, Norrgården, we are now seeking new competent and engaged colleagues who want to be part of our operation.

DUTIES
We strive to contribute to the highest possible quality of life for our care recipients. We want individuals living at Norrgården to have a meaningful daily life. Together with your colleagues, you are an important piece of this work.
Duties include personal care and service interventions, based on individual implementation plans.
The work also involves being a contact person, which means planning support and assistance together with individual residents.
Teamwork is a significant part of the job. You will work in teams with rehabilitation staff, nurses, and our specialized dementia team.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking a certified nursing assistant (undersköterska).
Previous experience working in a dementia-focused care facility is preferred.
Specialist training in dementia care, elderly care, or welfare technology, and experience with BPSD assessments are meritorious.
You have warmth and commitment to working with this target group. You have a positive attitude and see it as your natural responsibility to contribute to a positive work climate and promote good collaboration.

Therefore, it is important that you are confident in your professional role and have good self-awareness and personal maturity. You need to be able to meet each individual's needs by being adaptable to changing circumstances, remain calm in stressful situations, and see opportunities instead of obstacles. We seek someone with excellent interpersonal skills in all professional situations. It is also important that you are accustomed to collaboration and taking individual initiatives.
Beyond your passionate interest in dementia care, we want you to be interested in change and development work, as this is an ever-evolving operation. We also want someone who enjoys challenges and thinks outside the box.
You are self-directed, can take initiative, and excel at collaborating with colleagues, relatives, and other partners, both within and outside the organization.
We require Swedish language communication skills, both verbal and written, as the work involves numerous contact points and documentation.
We assume you have computer skills and preferably experience with social documentation in the Lifecare system.
To be employed as a nursing assistant, you must attach proof of protected professional title or a certificate from your current employer confirming a permanent employment as a nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023.
