Your New Job
Your tasks involve personal care, daily activities, social interactions, medication management, and various responsibilities. You will also actively work with primary caregiver roles, implementation plans, and social documentation.

Your Competence
You are a trained nursing assistant with experience working in specialized care and/or dementia care. For those applying for evening/night shifts, we particularly welcome previous experience in this area.
To succeed in the nursing role with us, you must have a genuine interest in driving and developing quality-enhancing activities for our elderly citizens. You are positive, flexible, and good at independently planning and executing your work. You are stable and able to manage an eventful day while maintaining calm during unforeseen or acute situations. You have good collaboration skills, communication abilities, and prioritize the best interests of both the individual and the organization in your actions and decision-making.
You should have excellent Swedish language skills in speaking and writing, with high reading comprehension. You must actively participate in workplace training/information sessions and be able to absorb information. Additionally, you should be experienced in keeping journal notes and have very good computer skills.
The work requires physical mobility, as situations arise that cannot be predicted and must be solved appropriately.

Welcome to Us
Tornet Elderly Care, consisting of 30 apartments, is centrally located in West Jönköping, with short distances to the city center and the cozy Saturday markets at Västra torget. We are a small and cozy elderly care facility with a pleasant work environment and good team spirit. We are now seeking a new colleague who wants to work with us.
The Social Administration's task is to ensure that everyone in Jönköping Municipality, based on politically given assignments and according to applicable legislation, has their fundamental needs for support, care, and security met. The Social Administration encompasses functions of elderly care, disability care, individual and family care, and administrative units.
Important to Know
Recruitment is for:
1 permanent nursing assistant position for day/evening shifts, full-time, with start date by agreement
1 permanent nursing assistant position for evening/night shifts, full-time, with start date by agreement. Working hours are primarily at night and evening on weekdays and every other weekend. Although working hours are mostly in the evening and night, work during other daytime hours may occur. Before employment begins and the contract is signed, you will first meet with Municipal Health for a health check. This health check is a requirement for all night shift positions.
Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend, with every other weekend worked. Jönköping works with full-time as the norm and always offers 100% employment. You need to be able to work inconvenient hours, including every other weekend, and be flexible with period planning as it is adapted to the organization's needs. Resource shifts may involve working across all units.
