ABOUT THE JOB We are now seeking a nursing assistant for Södermalm Home Care Services. At Södermalm Home Care Services, we work with people who need support, care, and assistance in their own homes, both in rural and urban areas. Our work is to make a difference for those living at home, ensuring their quality of life is as good as possible and enabling them to stay in their homes for as long as possible. Your tasks will involve providing care and support services in individual homes. This includes helping people with personal hygiene, light meal preparation, serving meals, cleaning, laundry, social interaction, outdoor activities, and accompanying individuals to various locations. Your responsibilities will also include taking charge of different areas of responsibility and performing documentation via computer. The work involves day, evening, and weekend shifts. We are seeking candidates who are trained nursing assistants or have other care-related education that the employer deems equivalent. Previous experience in home care or elderly care is considered meritorious. Since the job requires traveling by car, a valid driver's license (B) and driving experience are required. You are passionate about helping others and enjoy supporting individuals towards a meaningful life. As home care staff, you need to be able to work independently under your own responsibility while also seeing the work group as an asset and being easy to collaborate with.
