Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant with us, your primary placement will be at the ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) clinic in Västerås, with occasional service at branch clinics in Sala, Fagersta, and Köping. Work is during daytime, Monday to Friday. Your main responsibilities as a nursing assistant include working at the reception where you assist one or two doctors. The role involves receiving patients and preparing them for examinations, assisting during examinations, and handling post-examination tasks. You will also be responsible for maintaining various rooms in the clinic. Administrative tasks are also part of the job. Work at our outpatient surgical department will be included in the position. About the Workplace The ENT Clinic has reception services in Västerås, Köping, Sala, and Fagersta. The clinic also has outpatient services, allergy clinic, surgical planning, and oncological services. Research is conducted in collaboration with the Center for Clinical Research. The clinic also includes the Hearing Unit, which serves the entire county. The position is located at the ENT Clinic in Västerås. Here, medical secretaries, nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors work together to provide quality and professional care. Patients range from various age groups and visit for both planned and acute conditions. You will be part of a team of approximately 50 employees, of which 9 are nursing assistants. ENT works in a team-based approach, and as an employee, you have the opportunity to participate in and develop teamwork. Experience in reception work, surgical care, and/or ENT area is advantageous. You need excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Knowledge of the Cosmic journal system is meritorious. We seek a confident, stable person with good self-awareness. You work well with others and can independently structure your work and take responsibility for your tasks. The position requires excellent communication skills.
