About us Our 24-hour care consists of two departments, Department 34 and 36, each with 16 beds. We care for patients according to HSL and LPT. In Department 34, there is also a separate service with 2 detoxification places where we care for patients admitted under LOB. The departments employ nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, and doctors. The expertise of all professional groups is utilized to provide very good care. We receive patients from all diagnostic groups, which makes the days varied and very interesting. This gives you the opportunity to learn about all different diagnostic groups and comorbidities. About the position As a nursing assistant, you will be an important part of the care team and work closely with nurses, social workers, and doctors. Your focus will be on the psychiatric care and somatic management of patients, as well as on family and network work. You will contribute to care planning and promote patients' participation in their own care. Documentation in the Take Care journal system is an integral part of the job. You will also participate in the development of nursing work in the department. We are looking for Someone with a genuine interest in psychiatric patients and who is committed to creating a safe and supportive care environment. We value good collaboration skills, resilience to stress, and the ability to act in acute situations. Previous experience in psychiatry or addiction care is an advantage. Proof of protected professional title for nursing assistants or an employer certificate confirming that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, in accordance with the transitional provisions (2021:739) in the Patient Safety Act (2010:659). Psychiatric Center Södertälje is a specialist psychiatric clinic within the Stockholm County Healthcare Region, SLSO. The clinic has four outpatient units and two inpatient care departments. For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Region: - A background check will be conducted before a hiring decision according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment. - In addition to Swedish professional licensing, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
