Your New Job
The pool staffing for special housing, also called "Pool SÄBO", focuses on elderly and dementia care facilities and covers five geographical areas in Jönköping Municipality. The operation is organized into three work groups that collectively serve all areas.
As a nursing assistant in Pool SÄBO, you have a significant role where you, together with colleagues, provide quality service for our elderly and booking units. You always work with respect for citizens' integrity and based on the elderly care's core values of participation, self-determination, and a health-promoting approach.
Example tasks include:
- Personal care and social stimulation
- Daily chores like cleaning and laundry
- Social activities
- Medication management
- Other responsibilities
In the pool staffing, you plan your availability both independently and with colleagues. You have significant opportunity to influence your work shifts, including evenings and weekends, within the annual working hours agreement. For the flexibility and independence the role requires, you'll receive a wage supplement.
Your Competence
We're seeking a certified nursing assistant with an approved "Protected Professional Title for Nursing Assistants" from the National Board of Health and Welfare. You should have at least two years of experience working as a nursing assistant. Specialized nursing assistant certification is advantageous.
A B driver's license is required for the position. Since your work area covers all of Jönköping Municipality, and bus connections to outer areas may be limited, having access to a car or other transportation is beneficial.
You must be proficient in Swedish in speaking, writing, and reading comprehension, as the work involves significant contact with residents, relatives, and colleagues, as well as written documentation. Additionally, you should have good computer skills and be able to use digital tools for documentation.
The job requires physical mobility, as situations may arise that cannot be anticipated and must be resolved appropriately.
The position suits someone who is structured and enjoys taking personal responsibility. You can work independently while also seeing the value of planning, executing, and driving work forward together with colleagues. You are service-oriented, flexible, and meticulous, with the ability to adapt your approach based on both situation and individual. The recruitment is for a permanent full-time position with start date by agreement. We apply a 6-month probationary period. Jönköping Municipality applies full-time as the norm and always offers 100% employment.
You'll be based from home, with working hours distributed between day and evening, on weekdays and weekends. We may appoint multiple positions, and offers of employment at other units may become relevant.
