The Elderly Sector in Kils Municipality is responsible for the authority's actions regarding elderly care and social psychiatry according to the Social Services Act, as well as interventions under the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). The sector is also responsible for the provision of all elderly care, municipal health and medical care, rehabilitation, memory teams, and support for relatives.
**Job Responsibilities**
As a pool employee, you will cover for regular staff during their absence.
Your work will involve all tasks related to care and support. A pool position means that you do not have a fixed workplace; instead, you will be scheduled for shifts where needed. You will meet the individual care and service needs of clients based on the approved assistance according to the Social Services Act. You will also perform health and medical care tasks delegated by a nurse, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist. Documentation according to current legislation is part of the job, which means you must be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for someone who has a degree from the care and support program or is a care assistant with experience in the field. The qualities we highly value include good interpersonal skills, enjoyment in meeting different people, a positive view of humanity, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, flexibility, and a strong initiative. It is essential to take responsibility for the operations, as your tasks and teamwork are an important part of your work.

**Conditions**
You will work on a fixed schedule, with working hours scheduled for days and evenings, both weekdays and every other weekend.
- Your assignments will be pre-booked by the Staffing Unit.
- We apply Appendix D, special provisions for employment in the staff pool.
- Salary supplements are provided to employees in the staff pool.
- The positions are permanent employment with a degree of employment to be agreed upon.
- Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis during the application period.
