Your Responsibilities
Our vision is clear: "Smart Care for the Future." Do you want to help shape the future of care and support? Then you might be the one we are looking for! To meet the needs of an aging population while maintaining good quality, we need more people with the right skills.
In May 2026, Linköping Municipality will take over responsibility for home care, home health care, home rehabilitation, and assessed assisted living in the southwest area, which includes Lambohov, Skäggetorp, Vikingstad, and Ulrika/Nykil.
In home care, you provide support and care directly in people's homes. Here, you have the opportunity to truly make a difference and become a vital part of someone's life every day. You will encounter a wide variety of needs and challenges, making the work both diverse and rewarding.
As a nursing assistant, you will play a central role in ensuring good care for our elderly during the night. The work is independent and varied, with no two nights being the same. The main focus is on care tasks such as medication management and supervision, but service-related tasks are also included. The position involves performing both planned interventions and responding to alarms. We start from Ålerydsvägen 7 and travel from there to those who need our help by car.

Together with our 1,500 employees, we work to ensure that the residents of Linköping have a meaningful and dignified life. Each year, we provide care and support for approximately 4,100 people and contribute to the municipality's development in the sector.
The night organization belongs to the department of open care forms and is aimed at individuals living in ordinary housing or assisted living who need help during the night. We work in clusters but operate in all home care areas belonging to Linköping Municipality. With us, you will become part of a team of knowledgeable and experienced colleagues who, together with planners and the operations manager, work to provide the best possible care for our elderly.
