Job Description
As a nursing assistant, you play a significant role in the care work alongside nurses and doctors. You are responsible for basic nursing care. Together with the nurse, you plan nursing interventions, and you are delegated specific tasks such as wound dressings, EKGs, catheter insertions, and sample collections, as well as various types of drains, e.g., chest drains.
About the Workplace
The Surgical Observation Unit (KOP) is an outpatient department with a care duration of up to 24 hours. Here, patients with acute surgical diagnoses triaged from the emergency department are treated, as well as patients scheduled for planned breast, neck, hernia, or obesity surgeries. In addition, we have elements of "minor day care," such as iron infusions, biopsies, and bowel preparations.
What distinguishes KOP from a traditional care department is the combination of outpatient care, elective care, and certain day care services. With us, you work closely with patients in a team, fostering good collaborations within the surgical clinic and an open atmosphere with a strong sense of community.

Qualifications
We are looking for a qualified nursing assistant with a protected professional title. Experience in acute surgical care is valued. As a person, you are proactive, self-driven, and able to collaborate easily with others in a team.
To thrive with us, you should enjoy teamwork and preferably be someone who appreciates a varied pace, is flexible, curious, and eager to learn a bit of everything with a focus on the patient. You easily adapt to new circumstances and maintain calm when situations require it.
