About this role
Make a Difference. Every Day.
Kristianstad Central Hospital (CSK) is the emergency hospital for northeastern Skåne. Here, qualified emergency healthcare is provided around the clock by qualified and committed employees. CSK offers the resources of a large hospital with the proximity and sense of community of a smaller one. The hospital provides patients in its catchment area with care that has short waiting times across all specialties. We have approximately 2,600 employees.
Our Surgical Ward Planned Operations is a unit at Kristianstad Central Hospital focusing on obesity surgery every other week and other surgeries alternating weeks, such as gynecology, lower gastrointestinal surgery, hernias and gallbladders, and potentially other diagnoses. We conduct planned surgical procedures and have both inpatient and outpatient patients, as well as reception work. Our operations include ward, surgery, and recovery, which means we follow the patient throughout the entire care chain. In November, we have also started an admission ward.
Our department includes nurses, nursing assistants, a dietitian (available in Malmö), and medical secretaries working closely together. The department is open 24/7, from Monday at 06:45 to Friday at 15:30.
