The ICU in Kristianstad has seven beds and receives approximately six hundred patients each year. The hospital's anesthesia and surgical department performs more than 10,000 surgeries annually, including over 1,000 pediatric anesthesias. Within the operational area, there are postoperative and day surgery activities, pain clinics, and sterilization centers.
In the ICU in Kristianstad, qualified intensive care is provided, where critically ill patients receive advanced care. We offer intensive care to patients of all ages and from all medical specialties, making the work both varied and inspiring. Patients are treated in our unit after trauma, cardiac arrest, severe infections, septic shock, and multiple organ failure. The operation is high-tech, resource-intensive, and part of the work is planned. Here, we consciously work based on the strategy that every employee is needed and that their skills should be utilized. We have about 90 employees.
The Central Hospital in Kristianstad (CSK) is the emergency hospital for northeastern Skåne. Here, emergency medical care is provided around the clock by qualified and dedicated staff. CSK has the resources of a large hospital and the closeness and community of a smaller one. The hospital offers residents in the catchment area care with short waiting times across all specialties. We have approximately 2,600 employees.

In this role, you will work with the care of critically ill patients in need of advanced medical treatment and medical technology. In the department, we strive to provide patients with the highest quality of care. We work in interdisciplinary teams with high competence in a high-tech environment, where you, as a newcomer, will receive a tailored introduction and guidance from experienced colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS
You who are applying are a trained nursing assistant and meet the requirements set by the National Board of Health and Welfare for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you have studied under previous or current program structures. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are a requirement. It is an advantage if you have several years of experience in intensive care.
As a person, you have good foresight and organizational skills. Furthermore, you have the ability to prioritize when an acute situation arises. It is also essential for us that you are meticulous in your role as a nursing assistant, which means that you care for and provide patients with a good response based on their various needs.
