At the Heart Unit, you will be part of a stimulating community and become an important part of the team. We have an inpatient department, outpatient clinic, and a coronary catheterization laboratory (PCI lab). In the inpatient department, we have 20 care places, of which 6 are for cardiac intensive care. During the day, the staff on the ward receive support from a nurse manager who coordinates and leads the work.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Heart Unit is a cardiology care department with both acute and planned operations focused on heart diseases such as myocardial infarction, heart failure, and various arrhythmias. The work involves standard tasks as a nursing assistant in an acute care department, basic care such as ADL, pre- and post-care for heart-specific examinations and treatments, sample collection, and wound dressings, among other duties.
As a nursing assistant, you will work closely with other nursing assistants and nurses, as well as with other professional categories available in the unit or in connection with it, such as doctors and physiotherapists. The unit also includes secretaries and staff who manage the patient kitchen, supplies, and cleaning.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant, preferably with experience in cardiac care. You see it as a given to work in a team and contribute to the entire Heart Unit.
