About this role
Do You Want to Work with Us in Home Care?
In your daily work, you are part of elderly people's everyday lives, supporting them to live as meaningful, independent, and active a life as possible.
Here in Lund, we actively work to be at the forefront of digital work methods. This applies to both digital interventions for service users and in your work as our employee. Examples include mobile safety alarms, digital locks, https://lund.se/omsorg-och-stod/stod-i-hemmet/digital-hemvard, as well as work schedules and digital signing. Do you want to be part of the journey into the digital future?
About the Role and Your Tasks
Your work is guided by individual needs. A workday may involve providing support and help with personal care, care work, medical interventions delegated by a nurse, and other assistance the person needs. Documentation is done in Lifecare. Your role also includes contributing to the development and maintenance of high-quality services.
With us, you have the opportunity to work in different roles. As a primary care contact, you are responsible for creating and following up on implementation plans for your service users. The staff group is divided into smaller units, with 2-3 fixed care contacts who, together with a floater, are responsible for work with the unit's service users. You may also visit other service users.
As a resource worker, you work in more than one area. Your shifts are located within the four home care areas: Dalby, Södra Sandby, Veberöd, and Genarp. You are flexible and enjoy meeting new colleagues and working across multiple units. As a resource staff member, you work where the need is greatest, creating security, warmth, and care for those who truly need it.
We are now seeking nursing assistants for permanent positions or longer temporary contracts. We offer full-time work, which means 36 hours and 20 minutes per week. Everyone works every other weekend. Day shift is from 07:00 to 15:00, and evening shift is from 14:45 to 22:45.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Is a qualified nursing assistant
- Has experience in care work (preferred)
- Can cycle and, in some areas, has a driver's license
- Has good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
- Has good digital competence, especially for documentation purposes
You are responsible, engaged, flexible, and attentive - with service users, relatives, and colleagues. You understand the importance of each individual's participation and influence over their daily life.
