Job Responsibilities Are you the one who makes it possible for people to stay at home? We are currently seeking nursing assistants for Askim home care services. Our base is at Askims Torg, which you can reach by bus, bicycle, or car. Working in elderly care gives you the opportunity to contribute to joy and well-being. The goal is for our care recipients to have meaningful days, where you provide excellent care and social support. Our operations run every day, which means that working hours will include days, evenings, and weekends. Work in home care involves supporting and assisting care recipients in their own homes based on approved services. You will travel to the individual's home on foot, by bicycle, or by car. Your tasks include practical assistance with personal hygiene and care, support during meals, activities, laundry, cleaning, and more. You will also perform health and medical tasks according to instructions and delegation from a nurse. All documentation is done digitally. The individuals we meet require support both during the day, in the evening, and on weekends. Therefore, your working hours will be scheduled. As a nursing assistant in home care, you will have a varied job where you contribute to a dignified and meaningful life. Qualifications Requirements: • We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant, can provide proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or can show that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced. • You need to have either a B driver's license and driving experience or be experienced in cycling and able to cycle for work. • Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. • Basic computer skills (IT knowledge). Meritorious but not required: • Experience in care and support work, preferably within home care.
