Granlunda Elderly Care Home is located in the Bergsåker district and consists of seven departments, five of which are focused on dementia care and two on somatic care. The goal of our operations is to provide good and quality-assured care that is based on individual needs and built on the national value foundation. The current position is in a dementia department. Since we utilize resource shifts in our operations, work in other departments may also occur occasionally. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays and weekends. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** As a nursing assistant, your responsibilities include providing high-quality care to our residents based on their individual needs. You should be able to work both independently and collaboratively with others in the team. We work in teams that include care staff, nurses, and rehabilitation personnel. Responsibilities include: - Providing care and service to residents with a high level of quality. - Establishing and following up on night interventions in the care plan in close communication with the care recipient. - Documentation according to SoL (Social Services Act) and HSL (Health and Medical Services Act). - Conducting risk assessments regarding the care recipient and your own work environment. - Providing guidance (e.g., for new employees and students). - Contributing to the development of the operations and your own working methods. - Performing delegated tasks according to HSL. - Acting as a representative based on needs. - Performing laundry and cleaning duties. **QUALIFICATIONS** We are looking for someone who: - Has a genuine interest in working with people and a desire to help others. - Holds a nursing assistant qualification with approved grades. - Can express themselves well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing (at least completed SFI D education). - Focuses on the needs of the residents and is responsive to their wishes. - Is service-oriented, calm, and capable of handling stressful situations in a controlled manner. - Has good verbal communication skills. In interactions with individuals with cognitive impairments, you should be able to express yourself briefly, calmly, and clearly when various situations arise, ensuring a positive encounter. - Is flexible and can quickly adapt to new conditions and prioritize your tasks. - Takes responsibility for your tasks, is independent, responsive, and strives to find solutions. - Has good collaboration skills. - Is computer literate. It is an advantage if you: - Have completed online training courses in Dementia ABC, ABC Plus, and Zero Vision. - Have experience in a caregiving profession. - Have experience working with individuals who have cognitive impairments.
