About the Workplace
Garverivägen Care and Nursing Home is located in Älvängen.
We have 50 apartments spread across five units, focused on dementia, somatic care, the municipality's short-term unit, and respite care. As an employee at Garverivägen, you will work across all units but have a primary unit. We are now seeking 2 new employees, including one permanent position and a longer parental leave replacement.

Job Responsibilities
At our facility, you will perform care and service interventions according to the Social Services Act. You will support and motivate individuals in their daily lives through a responsive, flexible, and professional approach, focusing on the individual's self-determination. We encounter people with diverse needs and varying conditions, which places significant demands on you as care personnel. Your approach should be based on a salutogenic and person-centered work method. We work with primary caregiving, which includes coordinating interventions to provide individually-focused care and support.
The work also involves carrying out delegated tasks from home healthcare and documenting these in accordance with the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).
Qualifications
We are seeking someone who wants to help develop elderly care and enjoys challenges. Working with people is both stimulating and enjoyable for you! You have experience working in care and nursing. For the permanent position, you should have a nursing assistant/care worker education. You must be fluent in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and have good computer skills.
You will be part of a team where your ability to collaborate is as important as working independently. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills and approach. You should be able to create a sense of security and calm even in stressful situations. We want someone who takes responsibility and contributes to the workplace with a positive attitude.
Additional Information
Schedule includes day and evening shifts, with every other weekend worked.
Full-time is the norm, with the option for part-time employment.
