Job Description
This position is a shared role between administrative reception duties and clinical work at our physiotherapy clinic.
We are looking for a person who is a nursing assistant, and experience as a receptionist/healthcare administrator is also an advantage. You will play a central role in our reception and be the first point of contact for patients. The job includes standard reception tasks such as cash registration and patient booking, as well as many other administrative duties. You will support the patient operations in our outpatient unit and assist unit managers and physiotherapists, and occasionally occupational therapists, with various administrative tasks. Clinical duties include, among other things, removing casts, suture removal, and assisting physiotherapists in our outpatient services, particularly in our gym activities. You are flexible and solution-oriented, comfortable interacting with people, and radiate positive energy! The receptionist/healthcare administrator is the first to arrive at work, so you need to be available to work from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Qualifications
Nursing assistant (required)
Experience as a receptionist/healthcare administrator is also an advantage.
Familiarity with working in Take Care, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel), the Ordering Portal, and Clockwork is also beneficial.
About the Organization
At the physiotherapy and occupational therapy department of Danderyd Hospital, approximately 45 physiotherapists work across two units - the Orthopedic and Rheumatology Unit and the Respiratory and Circulation Unit, along with about 20 occupational therapists.
Organizationally, you will belong to the Paramedical Section, which consists of about 100 employees spread across four different units within Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Paramedical Geriatrics, and Nutrition. Here, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and dietitians work within most of the hospital's areas of operation, providing both inpatient and outpatient care.
