About Saltsjöbadens Hospital
Saltsjöbadens elderly care facility is located in a beautiful and historic environment by Baggensfjärden, close to the Stockholm archipelago with the sea as a neighbor. Here, a competent team works happily - we are now welcoming another colleague to our pleasant workplace.
At Saltsjöbadens Hospital, there are 92 apartments, and we offer both permanent housing (departments for individuals with dementia and somatic departments) as well as short-term accommodation.

It is about a 10-minute walk to the Saltsjöbanan station Saltsjöbaden. Free parking is available near the facility.
• We are a dementia-certified facility, which means that everyone who works here is trained in dementia care and communication through Vardaga's Dementia Academy.
• We apply a needs-based scheduling system. This means that you, as an employee, have the opportunity to influence your own working hours based on needs and preferences. We schedule for 10 weeks at a time.
• We collaborate with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
• You will have a team leader who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operation. Becoming a team leader can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.
As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important!
Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret their needs. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to interact with people.
You are closest to the resident and therefore play a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.

Your experience and knowledge
We expect you to be a trained nursing assistant with several years of experience in elderly care. Good computer skills, experience with documentation, and proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, are also required. You are accustomed to working independently and are responsible, with a good ability to handle changing situations calmly and focused. At the same time, you work in a structured and methodical manner, even in a fast-paced environment. For us, the customer is the focus, so we place great importance on personal suitability.
