We are Seeking Nursing Assistants for Ekhaga Care Home in Onsala We are looking for two dedicated nursing assistants for our charming care home in Onsala. The positions involve day/evening shifts and every other weekend, working in the somatic care units. We are seeking someone who is positive, responsible, and enjoys working in a team. About Ekhaga Care Home in Onsala: • A dementia-certified facility where all staff are trained in dementia care through Vardaga's Dementia Academy. • Fixed schedules involving day/evening shifts and every other weekend work. • Collaboration with Young Care, bringing youth ages 14-18 for weekend and holiday activities. • Proximity to a group manager working closely with staff. • Animal-assisted care with regular therapy dog visits. • Elder Center with two activity pedagogues developing programs for residents. As a nursing assistant, you play a crucial role in providing quality of life. You help residents maintain their lifestyle and habits, understanding and meeting their individual needs while learning about care, aging, and human interaction. You'll work closely with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, participating in care planning and writing social documentation.
