About the Open Position
You now have the opportunity to apply for an engaging and exciting job as a nursing assistant at the dialysis clinic in Borås.
Working as a nursing assistant with us is both technical and patient-centered. You will work independently but in close collaboration with colleagues who always support each other and prioritize both patients and team members. At the dialysis clinic, a nursing assistant receives comprehensive on-the-job training for at least four weeks to ensure comfort and confidence.
The Borås clinic has 18 dialysis stations. Currently, we are open Monday through Friday, with day and evening shifts. We are also open Saturday daytime and Sunday evening. We continuously work to develop and improve dialysis care with individually tailored treatment, where flexibility, collaboration, and holistic approach are essential.
This is a temporary position expected to continue until September 30, 2026.
About Us
The dialysis clinic is an outpatient facility for chronic kidney patients requiring hemodialysis. Our patients come for treatment approximately 3 times/week, which leads to very close and long-term patient relationships. We also receive acute patients.
Your Profile
We are seeking a qualified nursing assistant with preferably prior experience. Experience working in a dialysis clinic is advantageous. We expect excellent interpersonal skills, good collaboration abilities, flexibility, and an independent working style. Personal suitability will be heavily considered.
Protected Professional Title
As of July 1, 2023, "nursing assistant" became a protected professional title. This means you need certification from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title, or you must provide documentation of a permanent employment as a nursing assistant before the new rules took effect on July 1, 2023, thereby qualifying for transition regulations. The employment title will change from "care assistant" to "nursing assistant" upon submission of professional title certification (or service verification).
