Do you want to be part of a pleasant team that adds a special touch to our residents' daily lives? We now need to strengthen our team with a positive, flexible, and committed nursing assistant at the special care facility Brinkehem in Brösarp.
In Tomelilla Municipality, we work with full-time employment as the norm, which means that all new positions are full-time. We create the conditions to enable full-time work, which leads to many colleagues and greater opportunities for skills development. Placement will primarily be at Brinkehem, but resource shifts at other units within elderly care in Tomelilla Municipality may occur.
Brinkehem is a special care facility located in Brösarp, consisting of three departments with a total of 22 apartments. The Ljungen department is the largest, with a general orientation and ten apartments total, including two apartments adapted for couples. The Heden department consists of seven single-room apartments, and Ängslyckan has five apartments intended for people with cognitive disorders.
WORK TASKS
When working as a nursing assistant with us, you are part of people's daily lives and work to support residents in living as independently as possible. Your work is characterized by great variety, including providing practical support with personal care. You may be delegated by a nurse to have the opportunity to administer medication. The work also involves adding a special touch to residents' lives.
Your work includes providing practical support in personal care and hygiene, housework, or social support, such as:
• Showering, personal hygiene, and shaving
• Toilet visits
• Getting up and going to bed, dressing and undressing
• Cleaning, laundry, and shopping
• Accompanying to, for example, medical centers or outdoor activities

QUALIFICATIONS
To thrive in the role with us, it is important that you have a genuine interest in people needing care and support. You have the ability to see the individual's needs for both care and support, aimed at independence. It is also important that you as a person are flexible and have good interpersonal skills. The work requires that you can take initiative and have good collaboration abilities. The work requires that you as an employee are engaged and proactive in continuous improvement work for increased quality at both individual and operational levels.
To be considered for the position, you must have a nursing assistant education.
You need to master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with residents, relatives, and colleagues verbally and in writing, as well as document.
We consider previous experience in care and social services to be meritorious.
To work in care and social services, we request an extract from the police criminal record register.
