About this role
Department 53 is an acute surgical ward belonging to general surgery/urology. The department is part of the surgical clinic, which consists of three departments, two reception areas, and day activities.
We are currently on an exciting development journey with the goal of continuing to grow. In the coming years, we will recruit more staff to meet the region's development.

We are seeking a trained nursing assistant. You should have completed the emergency care course (200 points) or, according to the new curriculum, healthcare 1 and 2. Experience in surgical care or emergency healthcare is meritorious.
We will place great importance on your personal qualities. As a person, you are self-driven, responsible, can take initiative, and appreciate the occasionally high-paced environment. It is important that you have good collaborative skills, enjoy working in teams, and contribute to high-quality care with the patient in focus.
What you will work with:
As a nursing assistant in Department 53 - Acute Surgery, you will be responsible for basic patient care. Tasks include not only basic patient care but also qualified tasks such as drain management, wound care, blood sampling, patient education, risk assessments, and documentation in the medical record system.
As a nursing assistant in the department, you will have a varied and developing job where you work both independently and in teams. We work with patient-centered care and interprofessional collaborations.
You will work together with nurses, doctors in the emergency team, and other professionals such as physiotherapists.

About the position:
We offer you a permanent full-time employment. Working hours include day, evening, and weekend shifts. Start date by agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
