About the position Almby Home Care is one of the largest home care units in Örebro Municipality. As a nursing assistant with us, you will have a coordinated responsibility where you plan, implement, and follow up on daily tasks. You will have around 30 colleagues who make contributions, big and small, to our clients' lives every day. Some clients have extensive care needs, while others require help with simpler daily tasks. Regardless of needs, we always focus on the individual, with care and respect. We work rehabilitatively and utilize each person's own abilities. You will be part of a team with nursing assistants, nurses, and occupational therapists, where you will have an independent yet supportive role. Much of our work is done by bicycle, but we also have a car group. We are currently seeking more employees, partly due to an increased need in the area, and partly because some of our fantastic colleagues are moving on to further studies. Examples of tasks: • Provide personal care and service based on the client's individual needs • Perform service tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. • Establish and follow up on care plans together with the client • Collaborate with nursing assistants, occupational therapists, nurses, and relatives based on the client's needs • Document regularly in the organization's documentation system and review existing documentation • Participate with the rest of the workgroup in developing working methods and approaches within home care • Have knowledge of and adhere to the organization's applicable laws, policies, and procedures About the workplace We are based at Landbotorpsallén in Ladugårdsängen and work in the areas of Ladugårdsängen, Sörby, Sörbyängen, parts of Almby, and Ekeby-Almby. Qualifications To thrive with us, we believe you have an empathetic ability and a genuine commitment to people with diverse needs. You need to have a good command of the Swedish language to communicate with clients and other staff, as well as to document as required by the organization. Since the work involves digital documentation in the operational system, good computer skills are required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: • Proof of protected professional title, or be covered by transitional regulations (permanent nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023) • Ability to cycle Meritorious: • Experience working in care and support • Experience working with documentation and operational systems • B driver's license Scope and start date Employment type: Permanent position Employment rate: 100% Start date: Immediately Number of positions: 7 Working hours: Scheduled day, evening, and every other weekend Other information As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that you will need proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to be employed as a nursing assistant. While waiting for your proof, it is possible to be employed as a care assistant. However, if you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, you may continue to use the title.
