About this role
About Us
The Social Services department has a resource team to cover absences within LSS operations (support for individuals with disabilities) and elderly care.
This is to ensure that clients receive continuity and familiar staff, which increases security for both clients and staff.
We are now particularly looking for individuals interested in providing LSS interventions and personal assistance. However, as an employee in the resource team, there may also be opportunities in elderly care. It is important that you have a B driver's license and feel comfortable working independently in clients' homes.
Your Role
The task of the resource team is to staff vacant shifts within elderly care and support for individuals with disabilities. Based on your education, experience, and interests, there is an opportunity to work in various operations. The work will begin with shadowing at the relevant workplaces.
You will be subject to annual working hours, meaning that your working time may vary between months. Staffing will be based on your preferences for working hours when scheduling you for vacancies, but booking of working hours as well as changes may occur at short notice. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, nights, and weekends, and you need to be able to work all types of shifts. As flexibility in tasks is included, there is an additional pay and thus a higher salary.
Social documentation is carried out in the documentation program LifeCare.
Working in the resource team means that you may work at several different workplaces. For example, it could be a colleague on leave at a unit that needs coverage, or a workplace where staff are sick and you are needed for a short period. You will work with various colleagues and meet different clients, so it is important to be flexible and feel confident working with different colleagues and clients.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who is either a trained nursing assistant, has completed a child and youth program with a focus on disabilities, or has other education that the employer deems equivalent. Experience in the field is an advantage. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position.
You have a strong interest in working with people. You are computer literate and accustomed to documentation, you are creative and used to working in a low-arousal manner. Since communication and documentation are important parts of the operation, the job requires proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. As a person, you are positive, attentive, engaged, and outgoing, with the ability to work pedagogically, solution-focused, and independently.
It is important that you are flexible and enjoy working in different workplaces with various individuals. To provide our clients with good and safe care, you need to have a good demeanor and a positive view of people. Other important qualities include the ability to create professional relationships and a strong initiative. Your ability to collaborate is essential, and you must be able to work independently and make your own decisions.
