Mälarhem – a Finnish, modern, and personal elderly care home. Mälarhem is a small and modern elderly care home with only 26 places, creating a close and family-like atmosphere for both residents and you as a colleague. In the garden, we grow vegetables and flowers – and of course, we have a sauna. With us, you will have the opportunity to embrace Finnish culture and language. We speak Finnish daily at work and collaborate with various associations to preserve our Finnish heritage. We celebrate Independence Day and recognize Finnish author days such as Runeberg Day and Kalevala Day. In our own restaurant on the ground floor, our chef prepares Finnish-inspired meals. During weekends and holidays, we set the table extra nicely, and each week we offer a three-course menu to our residents. Finnish tango, waltz, and karaoke are popular features in our activity calendar. We are proud of our fantastic team, where we support each other and work together at all levels – together we create a safe and pleasant environment for both residents and staff.
