At the modern elderly care facility Äppelvägen in Färjestaden, we are looking for 4 new employees, some of whom will be resource positions. A resource position is a permanent position that involves having more resource shifts and being scheduled across different departments. At Äppelvägen, creativity flows, while social content and meaningfulness are central keywords in daily work. Our facility has a unique environment where all apartments are on ground level with their own outdoor spaces. Between departments, we have four appreciated inner courtyards, each different and inviting social interaction in unique ways. We use our surroundings in our activities, the dance pavilion invites dancing, and every late summer we harvest our apples for apple must and pies. We work with star-marked and person-centered care to ensure everyone can continue being the unique individual they are while with us. We have entered a new management model - Trust-Based Management and Governance. The ambition is to empower those working closest to our care recipients to drive the operation forward. WORK TASKS We are a great team working at Äppelvägen, passionate about creating the best possible care. Äppelvägen has 2 care departments and 5 dementia departments. We work together throughout the house, creating comfort for both care recipients and staff through pleasant activities and a helpful culture. We collaborate across Äppelvägen and with other units in municipal eldercare, so work at other units may occur, which are called resource shifts. Besides supporting other workplaces, resource shifts also provide variety and development in your work. A significant part of the work involves engaging, encouraging, and motivating a well-functioning daily life with respect for individual self-determination and integrity. We aim to provide individuals the conditions to achieve goals developed in their implementation plan. We also work with healthcare tasks on delegation. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is important that you can work both independently and in a group. You must be flexible and able to adapt your approach based on needs that arise in direct work with residents and within the work group. You are mature and confident, and enjoy developing the operation. We appreciate new ideas and forward-thinking. Together, we want to become an even better nursing home where our care recipients thrive. You are a role model and good colleague who shares knowledge through positive examples throughout eldercare. You should have completed nursing assistant training. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Previous experience in dementia care is highly meritorious.
