The Infection Clinic is a county and regional clinic with broad activities and University Healthcare Unit status. The clinic has a care ward with 19 patient beds and a reception for acute and planned care.
The Infection Ward offers a varied, exciting, and developmental work environment in a pleasant team where the pace is rarely slow. Here you will learn most aspects of infectious diseases and gain comprehensive nursing knowledge. We are now seeking a night shift nursing assistant!

We offer individualized training, at least 4 weeks.
DUTIES
As a nursing assistant with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.
At the care ward, no two days are the same. You work closely with patients in daily care alongside your colleagues to identify risks, assess, address, and evaluate patients' various care needs. General nursing care, sample collection, monitoring, documentation, and certain tasks related to cleaning, kitchen, and storage may also be part of your role.

We work with a holistic approach to our patients, and their relatives are often present during the care period.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking candidates who have completed nursing assistant education including healthcare 1100 points or with other relevant experience in emergency care and several years of experience in hospital care. We believe you enjoy work variation and have the ability to take personal responsibility. You see the value of good collaboration and contribute through your commitment.
Since nursing assistant will be a protected title as of July 1, 2023, you need to present a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
You should be able to work both independently and in a group. We welcome your curiosity and desire to learn and develop. You have good interpersonal skills, see the whole patient, and can adapt your care to the patient's different needs during their stay. You have good communication both verbally and in writing. You have knowledge and interest in the importance of nursing, nutrition, and hygiene for the patient. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
