Stenhagen's care and support residence is located five kilometers from central Uppsala. It is close to Stenhagen's educational and cultural center, which includes a library. Shops and various services are also nearby. At Stenhagen's care and support residence, there are 4 departments and 80 apartments. We have one department for nursing care and the rest are for dementia care. We offer opportunities for couples to live together. Your mission As a nursing assistant in the role of team representative, you will work directly in care while also managing the daily planning in the department. The role of team representative includes mentoring and motivating colleagues and ensuring that work is performed according to routines and guidelines. You play an important role in contributing to a quality operation. Stenhagen's care and support residence has a strong focus on development work to enhance the quality of services. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is engaged, proactive, and can contribute with drive in moving forward. You will work during the day and evening, collaborating with three other team representatives. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays and every other weekend. Your background We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with proof of protected professional title and has experience in elderly care. We prefer that you have prior experience working as a team representative/team leader. A post-secondary education in leadership or social work is an advantage. You need to have good computer skills and proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We would also like you to have experience in performing health and medical care tasks delegated by HSL personnel and experience documenting in Lifecare. To succeed in this role, you need to be adaptable to changing circumstances. You can quickly adjust your perspective and approach, seeing opportunities in changes. You work well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You have the ability to understand someone else's perspective or situation without taking over their emotions. You see the bigger picture and take into account the broader perspective, understanding your role while considering the best interests of the entire organization in your actions and decisions.
