Job Description
We are looking for a nursing assistant with experience in pediatric care to join our team on Ward 74. This position is a 6-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension. Ward 74 is part of the emergency care section within Sachsska Children’s and Youth Hospital. We are seeking someone who wants to contribute to the best care for children aged 0-18 years in need of emergency medical care on the ward. We offer you the opportunity to gain broad expertise in pediatric care, where you will meet patients with various conditions such as diabetes, eating disorders, hand surgery, infections, and appendicitis. No two days are alike, and here you can learn something new every day.
On Ward 74, you will work in a team alongside a nurse. The care provided ranges from acute situations to basic nursing. The role involves interprofessional collaboration with doctors, dietitians, physiotherapists, social workers, and play therapists, all of whom play an important role in the care of the sick child.

Qualifications
Requirements: Education as a nursing assistant. Experience working with children and adolescents in healthcare or emergency care. Specialized training in pediatrics is an advantage.
