Orthopedic Technology Orthopedic Technology is part of the Orthopedic Clinic and has its reception at NÄL but also has some operations at Uddevalla Hospital. Our mission is to prescribe orthopedic technical aids based on high expertise and quality to patients in the NU Healthcare catchment area, to facilitate their daily lives and contribute to increased quality of life. At NU Healthcare, Orthopedic Technology is part of various cross-professional teams, such as diabetes, child habilitation, and prosthetics teams. We have close collaboration with the three other orthopedic technology units within VGR. About the Position We are a relatively small operation with an excellent work climate and therefore have close cooperation across professional boundaries. The position is divided between administrative and patient reception, so your daily work will be very varied. As an administrator, you are the face outward and have a comprehensive overview of the operation. You will have phone hours, be responsible for our orthopedic technology data system OPAS, where invoices, bookings, schedules, orders, and referrals are processed. The content of the position may change over time. At patient reception, you will fit breast prostheses, girdles, and soft corsets, which may involve some sewing. Qualifications You should be a trained nursing assistant with good patient experience. It is also a requirement that you have had administrative responsibility in a previous professional role. We place great importance on personal qualities such as good initiative and cooperation skills, being approachable, self-driven, and structured. It is important that you are flexible and stress-resistant, as you will often be interrupted and need to easily resume work tasks. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
