We at the surgical department in Oskarshamn are now seeking a nurse assistant for a temporary position at the clinic.
As a nurse assistant at the surgical and urological clinic, you will work with patient scheduling and booking, assist our doctors during examinations and procedures, and have your own patients.
Working hours are during daytime, Monday to Friday.
About You
We are looking for a trained nurse assistant, preferably with experience in surgery, urology, or similar clinic work. We place great importance on personal suitability.
You should be confident and responsible in your role as a nurse assistant and feel comfortable making independent decisions. You work in a structured manner, have good collaboration skills, are flexible, and have a desire to find solutions in the best interest of patients.

The Surgical and Urological Clinic in Oskarshamn is part of the Surgical Clinic Kalmar and Oskarshamn. Nurses, nurse assistants, medical secretaries, and doctors work together at the clinic. We conduct urological and general surgical activities. We also collaborate closely with the ward, where patients undergoing elective surgery are cared for Monday to Friday. In total, over 200 people work at the Surgical Clinic Kalmar and Oskarshamn, approximately 30 of whom are in Oskarshamn.
Oskarshamn Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County and has over 400 employees. It is a small hospital with quick decision-making processes and close contacts between units. It offers medical specialist care, radiology, planned surgery, and orthopedics. The hospital is located near Oskarshamn city center and close to the archipelago.
