**Job Description** **Responsibilities** Are you the one who makes it possible for people to stay at home? We are currently seeking nursing assistants for home care in Torslanda. Working in home care means that you support and assist care recipients in their own homes based on approved services. You will travel to individuals' homes on foot, by e-bike, or by car. Your work includes practical assistance with personal hygiene and care, support during meals, activities, laundry, cleaning, and more. Your responsibilities include being a contact person/care coordinator, where you will, together with the individual, plan, implement, update, and document the work. You will also perform health and medical care and rehabilitation services as prescribed by a nurse, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist. All social documentation is done digitally. If you have not previously used the systems employed by the City of Gothenburg, you will receive training in these. **Qualifications** **Requirements for the position** • We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, can provide proof of the protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or can demonstrate that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced. • Comfortable using an e-bike as a work vehicle. • B driver's license. • Since we document and communicate in Swedish, you need to be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. **Meritorious** • Work experience in care and support. • Experience as a designated care contact. • Experience in coordinating individual plans. • Experience working with individuals with mental health issues. **Personal Attributes** As a nursing assistant in home care, you are friendly and helpful to others even in stressful situations.
