Home Care Nursing Assistant - Torslanda Evening Units (Dementia and Somatic Care)

Job Responsibilities Are you the one who makes it possible to stay at home? We are now seeking nursing assistants for both evening units in dementia and somatic home care services in Torslanda. Working in elder care gives you the opportunity to contribute to joy and well-being. The goal is for care recipients to have meaningful days, where you provide good care and social support. You will have the opportunity to develop in your professional role while making a difference for those we serve. Your work hours are in the evening and every other weekend. In Torslanda, we value collaboration and work based on the national core values. Working in home care involves supporting and helping care recipients in their own homes based on approved services. You will travel to the individual's home by car. Your work includes practical help with personal hygiene and care, support during meals, activities, laundry, cleaning, and more. You will also perform health care tasks following instructions and delegation from a nurse. All documentation is done digitally. Qualifications Requirements • We are seeking a certified nursing assistant. You can either show certification from the National Board of Health and Welfare, educational certificates, or prove previous permanent employment as a nursing assistant • Driver's license (B-class) • Swedish language skills in speech and writing Preferred • Comfortable using an electric bicycle as a work vehicle • Work experience in healthcare and social care Personal Characteristics As a nursing assistant in home care, you show respect and consideration for those you encounter in your professional role. The care recipient's needs are the starting point for your actions. Communication is a crucial part of your work as you inform colleagues about important events, engage in conversations with care recipients, and need to document your work. Home care work consists largely of independent work and personal responsibility, but you also work collectively with your colleagues, focusing on the care recipient's best interests. Work tasks vary based on the care recipient's needs, so it is important that you can adapt and adjust your approach according to changing circumstances.
