About the position We are currently seeking nursing assistants for evening work at Marka Home Care. As a nursing assistant, you will contribute to ensuring that our clients receive good care and support. Marka Home Care strives to achieve high quality in our operations for those we serve. We accomplish this by working in teams to create a shared understanding of how we meet and plan for our clients' needs. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care as well as services such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, and escorting. Additionally, you are expected to perform medical interventions on behalf of nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Besides the practical tasks, you will be expected to document and maintain good communication with clients, relatives, and other professionals involved in the care and support we provide. As a nursing assistant with us, you will work both in a team and independently to plan, execute, and evaluate interventions based on the client's needs. Examples of tasks: • Provide personal care and services based on clients' needs • Perform medical interventions delegated by nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists • Work from a rehabilitative approach • Document in the operational system • Collaborate with colleagues in the team to improve operations About the workplace Marka Home Care currently has about 27 permanent employees, and the operations are divided into three geographical teams. We are based in Landbotorpsallén and primarily work in the areas of Brickebacken, Brickeberg, and the countryside around Norra bro/Gällersta. You will be welcomed by a pleasant group of colleagues who support each other in daily work, in the development of the operations, and who have a strong sense of community. The area of care and support is part of the Social Administration. The operations encompass care and support, preventive activities, authority functions in the area, as well as housing placement and housing adaptation. Within the area of Care and Support, we work to support and assist people who need care, support, or assistance in their daily lives. Qualifications As a nursing assistant with us, you are a secure and stable person. You have the ability to meet clients in a professional manner by being calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a responsive and flexible way. Furthermore, you have a positive view of people, with great respect for each individual's unique needs. You also adapt easily to changing circumstances and see opportunities in change. You are proficient in Swedish, enabling you to communicate with clients and other staff, as well as document what is required by the operations. Good computer skills are also necessary for documentation. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: • Proof of protected professional title, or be covered by transitional regulations (permanent nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023) • B driver's license • Ability to cycle Meritorious: • Experience in care and support work • Experience working in Lifecare or similar operational systems Scope and start date Employment type: permanent position Employment rate: 100% Start date: by agreement Number of positions: 2 Working hours: scheduled evenings and every other weekend Additional information As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that you will need proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare to be employed as a nursing assistant. While waiting for your proof, it is possible to be employed as a care assistant. However, if you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023, you may continue to use the title.
